12 Years in the Making
Over 12 years ago, God placed a vision on the heart of our founder, Dave Bethany, a vision that would one day become Mission Esperanza. Through years of prayer and the faithful support of others, that calling finally took shape in 2023. With a background in construction, his initial goal was to bring the quality and efficiency of U.S. building methods to communities abroad. But God had a bigger plan. Dave quickly realized that to truly spread the Gospel, he also needed to pour encouragement, training, and hope into the pastors and church leaders who were faithfully serving their people. With little knowledge and experience on training pastors, Dave stepped out in faith, trusting God to guide each step of this unknown journey. Since then, God has opened doors beyond anything Dave imagined, transforming a construction-focused vision into a thriving ministry that is building not just structures, but hope in the hearts of multiple communities.
